Hello, I am Laura Harper, nee Laura Lorene Williamson, daughter of the late Johnnie Oliver Williamson and Irena Crumpler Williamson. I worked for the Department of Defense for thirty years and am now retired and living in Fayetteville, North Carolina. My husband, the late Charles L. Harper, was a Green Beret in the US Army for thirty years. I have two sons: Roy is a software engineer in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Eddie is an inventory control manager in Huntsville, Alabama. I also have four grandchildren: Jennifer, 20, a student at the University Of Tennessee; CK, 11, and Skyler, 9, in Huntsville, Alabama; and Chuck Jr (The Green Beret Baby), 4, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. I also have two great daughters-in-law. They both claim to be my favorite DIL and have let me know in no uncertain terms that I have been neglecting them here. So who do I put first - the oldest or youngest or what? Well, Hermy is Roy's wife and is a stay-at-home mom here in Fayetteville. Donna is Eddie's wife and is a stay-at-home mom in Huntsville, Alabama.

My favorite pastimes now are building websites, photography, playing the piano, and going to Paddy Gibney & Bill Ayerbe gigs (get to practice with the camera there!!) at my friend's pub, Paddy's Irish Public House. I have developed the Paddy Gibney Music Website and Paddy's Irish Public House Website for Paddy Gibney, a singer/songwriter/guitarist and very special friend. Paddy is teamed up with Bill Ayerbe, a very talented violinist/fiddler. I also established the first fan club for Paddy and Bill and developed The Official Paddy Gibney Fan Club website for them. I also have a website about and for local musicians in this area - Click Here To View. I am currently webmaster for all these sites. There is a link to each one on the sidebar.

I am building this site for my children and grandchildren. I use it to sort of let them know my thoughts (when I get around to it) and I hope to archive all the photos and mementos that I have collected over the years.
